Indian Navy Hosts Chiefs' Conclave 2025 to Discuss Future Warfare and Maritime Strategy.

The Indian Navy (IN) Chiefs' Conclave 2025 was held at Nausena Bhawan, the IN headquarters in New Delhi (Delhi), from February 8 to 9, 2025. The conclave brought together eight former Chiefs of Naval Staff (CNS) alongside the current CNS, Dinesh Kumar Tripathi.


      - It was conducted as part of the IN’s efforts to achieve full self-reliance by 2047, focusing on strengthening its capabilities in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).

      - The conclave aimed to harness the knowledge and collective experience of former CNS while providing updates on the latest developments and policy initiatives of the IN.

      - Former CNS were briefed on an operational update, covering policy initiatives, technological advancements, materials, operational logistics, and long-term strategic plans.

Main Point :-   (i) An exclusive session, Manthan, was conducted to facilitate open discussions on critical issues, including future warfare, maritime strategy, shifting geopolitical dynamics, and evolving HR frameworks.

      (ii) The conclave reaffirmed the IN’s commitment to continuity, leveraging past leadership’s wisdom while shaping the future of India’s maritime power.

(iii) A book titled "Legacy of Leadership: Naval Chiefs through Time" was released during the Conclave, chronicling the journeys of former CNSs. This collector’s edition features personal stories, rare photographs, and firsthand accounts, offering unique insights into their leadership.
