  • (i) Cyclone 2025 is a joint military exercise focused on combat in urban areas and hostage rescue. The Indian Army's Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) and Egypt’s Commando Squadron and Airborne Platoon are participating under the motto, "Together we train, together we excel." The operation includes counter-terrorism missions, raids, reconnaissance, and special forces skills such as sniping, combat free fall, surveillance, and target designation.
  • (ii) The exercise will also feature military demonstrations, discussions, and training on handling Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), countering them, and providing first aid in combat situations. Special focus will be given to operational planning and execution in challenging environments.
  • (iii) Additionally, India and Egypt conduct another joint exercise, 'Exercise Desert Warrior,' which involves their respective air forces.
