In February 2025, Sweden-based aerospace and defense company Saab AB successfully completed the delivery of its latest Anti-Tank 4 (AT4) weapons, strengthening the advanced weaponry arsenal of the Indian Armed Forces.

  • - This delivery follows a contract awarded in 2022 for approximately 2,000 AT4 units, which are now actively deployed by both the Indian Army (IA) and the Indian Air Force (IAF).

  • (i) Additionally, Saab announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility for the Carl-Gustaf anti-tank weapons system under Saab FFVO India Private Limited.
