Saab Successfully Delivers AT4 Anti-Armor Weapons to Indian Armed Forces.

In February 2025, Sweden-based aerospace and defense company Saab AB successfully completed the delivery of its latest Anti-Tank 4 (AT4) weapons, strengthening the advanced weaponry arsenal of the Indian Armed Forces.
- This delivery follows a contract awarded in 2022 for approximately 2,000 AT4 units, which are now actively deployed by both the Indian Army (IA) and the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Main Point :- (i) Additionally, Saab announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility for the Carl-Gustaf anti-tank weapons system under Saab FFVO India Private Limited.
(ii) The facility, located at MET City in Jhajjar, Haryana, is expected to commence operations by the end of this year or early next year.
