T-Hub and ITFA Ink MoU to Strengthen India-Turkiye Trade and Cultural Relations.

MOUs and Agreement

In January 2025, Hyderabad (Telangana)-based startup incubator Technology Hub (T-Hub) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indo-Turkiye Friendship Association (ITFA) at ITFA’s inaugural event held at the Turkish Consulate General in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana. The MoU aims to enhance collaboration between India and Turkiye’s innovation ecosystems as both nations position themselves as global leaders in economy and technology.


      - As part of this partnership, T-Hub and ITFA will jointly work on various initiatives, including the Türkiye Tourism Roadshow, scheduled to take place on February 26, 2025, in Hyderabad.

      - The signing ceremony was attended by Orhan Yalman Okan, Consul General of Türkiye, and M.A. Faiz Khan, Chairman of ITFA.

      - The MoU enables cross-border mentorship, market access, and collaboration in key sectors such as IT, software, pharmaceuticals, defense, aerospace, cybersecurity, green and renewable energy, and critical minerals, while also emphasizing health, food security, logistics, supply chain management, agriculture, textiles, and machinery.

Main Point :-   (i) The MoU promotes joint academic and accelerator programs, emphasizing technology-driven initiatives in Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and critical minerals.

      (ii) ITFA will support Indian startups in accessing Turkish markets and connecting with suitable partners, while T-Hub will assist Turkish startups in integrating into the Indian ecosystem.

(iii) In 2024, bilateral trade between India and Türkiye reached USD 13 billion, with both governments setting a mid-term target of USD 20 billion.
