In the latest Brand Finance report ranking the top 500 global brands, Tata Group has retained its position as the leading Indian brand with a brand value of $31.6 billion, reflecting a 10% increase. While Apple continued to hold the top spot as the most valued global brand, Tata Group was ranked 60th, maintaining its place among the top 100 most valued brands. The group also preserved its AAA- brand strength rating.

- LIC emerged as the fastest-growing Indian brand, with a 36% increase in brand value to $13.3 billion, maintaining its AAA brand strength rating.
- Reliance Group (up 17% to $9.8 billion) earned an AA- rating, while Wipro Group (up 2% to $6.7 billion) retained its AA+ rating.
Main Point :- (i) Infosys has been ranked as the world’s third most valuable IT services brand for the fourth consecutive year, with a brand value of $16.3 billion. It achieved the fastest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in brand value among IT services brands over the last five years, driven by innovation, a focus on generative AI, and high-profile sponsorships and partnerships.
(ii) Larsen & Toubro (L&T) made a strong debut in the global rankings, while Bajaj Group increased its brand value by 23% to $6 billion, and Mahindra Group saw a 9% growth to $7.2 billion. Banking leaders HDFC ($14.2 billion), SBI ($9.6 billion), and ICICI ($6.4 billion) marked significant entries into the global rankings, highlighting India's growing prominence in the financial sector.
(iii) In telecommunications, Airtel ($7.7 billion) maintained its strong position, and Jio Group debuted with a brand value of $6.5 billion, signaling its expanding global footprint. In the energy sector, Indian Oil grew its brand value by 9% to $5.5 billion, reinforcing its status as a global energy leader.
