In January 2025, FC Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 5-2 to win the 41st edition of the Spanish Super Cup (also known as Supercopa de España). The final was held at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

- With this victory, Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup for the 15th time, two more than Real Madrid, who have won it 13 times.
Main Point :- (i) The Supercopa de España 2025 has a prize pool of USD 20.7 million, with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid each receiving USD 6.2 million, Athletic Bilbao getting around USD 2.1 million, and RCD Mallorca receiving USD 880,150.
(ii) In addition to the prize money, the tournament champions will receive USD 2.1 million, and the runners-up will get USD 1 million.
(iii) FC Barcelona won their first Super Cup in 1983-84, followed by wins in 1991-92, 1992-93, 1994-95, 1996-97, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2013-14, 2016-17, 2018-19, 2022-23, and now 2024-25.
