KKFI Reveals Trophies and Mascots for Inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025.

On January 3, 2024, the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) revealed the trophies and mascots for the first-ever Kho Kho World Cup, scheduled to take place from January 13-19, 2025. Supported by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the event will be hosted at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.


      - The tournament will feature 21 men's teams and 20 women's teams from 24 countries across 6 continents, highlighting the global reach of the sport.

      - The mascots, 'Tejas' and 'Tara,' are energetic gazelles representing the dynamic and spirited essence of Kho Kho.

      - Tejas represents brilliance and energy, while Tara signifies guidance and aspiration. Both mascots are designed in vibrant blue and orange sporting attire with traditional Indian motifs.

Main Point :-   (i) The tournament features two trophies, a blue trophy for the men's championship and a green trophy for the women's championship.

      (ii) The blue trophy embodies trust, determination, and universal appeal, while the green trophy signifies growth and vitality.
