All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Unveils NEAT 4.0 for Online Learning.

In January 2025, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched Phase 4 of the National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT 4.0) at its headquarters in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.


      - The event was attended by Professor T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, Professor Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the National Educational Technology Forum (NETF), Buddha Chandrasekhor, Chief Coordinating Officer (CCO) of NEAT, AICTE, along with representatives from various EdTech companies.

      - The launch event featured a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, where 22 EdTech companies signed MoUs with AICTE to introduce 40 innovative products.

     

Main Point :-   (i) The companies that signed MoUs with AICTE for NEAT 4.0 include Amypo Technologies Private Limited, Ansys Software, Culturelligence Private Limited, among others.

      (ii) The products were evaluated through a rigorous process, consisting of four rounds and over 300 assessments by domain experts, ensuring they met stringent quality standards before being included on the NEAT portal.

(iii) NEAT 4.0, implemented through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, makes advanced EdTech solutions accessible to students. The inclusion of emerging fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Health & Wellness, and Space Technology highlights the portal's versatility.
