Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several significant development projects in New Delhi on January 3, 2025. These include 1,675 flats designed to provide housing for residents of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters and the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar, marking major strides in urban redevelopment.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two key urban redevelopment projects: the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar and the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar.
- The GPRA Type-II Quarters project comprises 28 towers with approximately 2,500 residential units, featuring modern amenities. It also includes eco-friendly systems such as rainwater harvesting, sewage and water treatment plants, and solar-powered waste compactors.
Main Point :- (i) Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the Integrated Office Complex of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Dwarka, Delhi. The state-of-the-art facility, developed with an investment of Rs 300 crore, aims to enhance the board's operational efficiency.
(ii) Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the development of three major projects at Delhi University (DU), New Delhi, with a total investment exceeding Rs 600 crore.
