India awarded hosting rights for the 2026 Asian Rifle and Pistol Cup.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) announced that the Executive Committee of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) has awarded India the rights to host the 2026 Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup.
- The competition will be held in New Delhi, Delhi in 2026.
Main Point :- (i) India has previously hosted the 8th Asian Air Gun Competition in 2015 and the Asian Olympic Qualifier in 2016.
(ii) India has also hosted 6 major competitions organized by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), including two World Cup Finals.
(iii) In 2024, India hosted the ISSF World Cup Final for Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun events in New Delhi.
