PM Modi visited Madhya Pradesh and inaugurated several projects.

On 25th December 2024, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi visited Madhya Pradesh (MP) to mark the 100th birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. During his visit, he laid the foundation stone for various projects.


      - PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the Ken-Betwa River Link Project (KBLP) in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. The Union Cabinet had approved Rs 44,605 crore for this project in December 2021.

      - PM Modi inaugurated the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project, which is located in Omkareshwar, Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh.

     

Main Point :-   (i) PM Modi laid the foundation stone for 1,153 Atal Gram Sushasan (good governance) buildings.

      (ii) To honor the 100th birth anniversary of former PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, PM Modi released a commemorative coin and stamp worth Rs 100.
