In December 2024, Nvidia Corporation, headquartered in California, USA, signed an agreement with the Government of Vietnam to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development (R&D) Center and an AI Data Center in Vietnam.
- The agreement was formalized in Hanoi, Vietnam, in the presence of Nvidia’s founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jensen Huang, and Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh.
Main Point :- (i) The R&D center will focus on software development, leveraging Vietnam's pool of skilled engineers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
(ii) It aims to collaborate with industry leaders, startups, government agencies, universities, and students to advance AI adoption and innovation.
