The All India State Bank Officers' Federation (AISBOF) elected Rupam Roy as its new General Secretary on November 30, 2024, during the 6th Executive Committee Meeting held in Chandigarh. The decision was unanimous, and Roy will officially assume office on December 1, 20242. Rupam Roy, who previously served as the President of AISBOF and is currently the General Secretary of the All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC), is known for his negotiating skills and dedication to officers' welfare. The Federation represents over 80,000 officers of the State Bank of India and its six associates. Roy's election is expected to strengthen AISBOF's unity and efforts to address the evolving needs of its members.
