MOUs and Agreement

The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) and the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote entrepreneurship among marginalized communities. The collaboration, endorsed by Union Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju, aims to foster inclusive growth and self-reliance by providing concessional credit and support for self-employment ventures. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards building an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).


      - The partnership aims to foster inclusive growth and self-reliance.

      - NMDFC has supported over 24 lakh families with credit exceeding ₹9,000 crore since 1994.

      - The MoU signing event symbolizes the beginning of a journey toward economic and social empowerment.

(i) DICCI is known for fostering entrepreneurship among marginalized groups.   (ii) The collaboration will provide concessional credit and support for self-employment ventures.

      (iii) The initiative aims to create awareness, provide credit support, advocate for policies, and inspire youth.

(iv) The partnership is expected to serve as a model for collaborative efforts in empowering marginalized communities.
