China's J-35 Becomes the Second 5th-Generation Fighter.

In November 2024, China unveiled its fifth-generation stealth fighter jet, the Shenyang J-35, during the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, China.


      - With this, China became the second nation in the world, after the United States of America (USA), to possess more than one fifth-generation fighter jet.

     

     

Main Points:-   (i) The J-35 is a twin-engine, single-seat supersonic stealth fighter developed by China for multirole missions.

      (ii) It represents the country's second fifth-generation fighter, following the J-20.

(iii) The J-35's design closely resembles the U.S. Lockheed Martin F-35, with the main difference being that the J-35 is equipped with two engines, while the F-35 has a single engine.
