PM Modi Receives Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award at AIAM Launch in Maryland, USA.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister (PM) of India was honored (in absentia) with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award for Minority Upliftment. The award was jointly presented by Washington Adventist University and Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM) to PM Modi.


      - The award recognized PM Modi's efforts toward inclusive development and minority welfare.

      - The award is named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., an American, known for his contributions to the American Civil Rights Movement, and it honors his lasting legacy in promoting equality, justice, and human rights.

      - The event emphasized PM Modi's commitment to upholding India's secular constitution and promoting global recognition for the nation.

Main Points:-   (i) Members of India's minority communities voiced their support for the government's inclusive policies, condemning attempts to create communal divides and reaffirming their commitment to national unity and progress.

      (ii) Chairman of AIAM Jasdip Singh emphasized AIAM's role in advancing PM Modi's vision of a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) by 2047.

(iii) Satnam Singh Sandhu, convener of the Indian Minorities Federation, highlighted the transformation of India under PM Modi's leadership and applauded the "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Together with all, Development for all) policy, noting that it has fostered communal harmony and created an atmosphere of equal opportunity for all.
