J&K Bank Introduces Virtual ATM Service in Collaboration with Paymart India.

On 22nd November 2024, The Jammu and Kashmir Bank Limited (J&K Bank) launched the virtual Automated Teller Machine (vATM) facility in collaboration with Paymart India Private Limited.
- The innovative technology platform aims to provide access to technology for the financial empowerment of people, especially in rural areas with a deficiency of ATMs, and to promote digital convenience for its customers.
- The platform was inaugurated by the bank's Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Baldev Prakash in the presence of Amit Narang, Director and CEO of Paymart India Pvt Ltd.
Main Points:- (i) The primary goal of the collaboration and development of the vATM facility is to create an accessible and customer-centric banking ecosystem.
(ii) Through these vATMs, customers in ATM-deficient locations can have banking services delivered to their doorsteps. The services offered by these virtual ATMs are user-friendly, hassle-free, and secure.
(iii) The vATM facility enables customers to withdraw cash easily by generating digital tokens through the bank's mobile application, mPay Delight+, at enrolled merchants of Paymart India.
