Indian Army Carries Out 'Sanyukt Vimochan 2024' Exercise in Gujarat.

The Indian Army (IA) successfully conducted the Multilateral Annual Joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Exercise, 'Sanyukt Vimochan 2024,' from 18th to 19th November 2024 at Ahmedabad and Porbandar, Gujarat.
- IA, Indian Navy (IN), and Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out a 9-day joint military exercise, 'Poorvi Prahar,' at Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh (AR) from 10th to 18th November 2024, showcasing their advanced combat readiness.
- General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), led this important event, which brought together participants from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA), India Meteorological Department (IMD), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and the Indian Armed Forces.
- The event commenced on 18th November 2024 with a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) based on the theme 'Cyclone in the Coastal Region of Gujarat.'
Main Points:- (i) IA, IN, and IAF carried out a 9-day joint military exercise, 'Poorvi Prahar,' at Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh (AR) from 10th to 18th November 2024, showcasing their advanced combat readiness.
(ii) The exercise showcased advanced military hardware like the M-777 Howitzer and Prachand helicopters, emphasizing intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance. It focused on rapid force mobilisation, redeployment, efficient operational logistics, and precision strikes using advanced weaponry to enhance mission execution capabilities.
