India Wins 4-Match T20 Series 3-1 Against South Africa in 2024 Tour.

The Indian men's cricket team, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, won the Twenty 20 Internationals (T20Is) series 3-1 by defeating the South African men's cricket team, captained by Aiden Markram.


      - The Indian team toured from 8th to 15th November 2024 and played 4 T20I matches.

      - Sanju Samson made the 3rd century of his career (109 not out off 56 balls) in the fourth T20I between India and South Africa.

      - Arshdeep Singh became India's second-highest wicket-taker in men's T20Is after India's win against South Africa.

Main Points:-   (i) India defeated South Africa by a record 135 runs in the 4th and final T20 International at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. With the win, India secured the four-match series 3-1.

      (ii) India scored a total of 283 runs for 1, due to centuries scored by Tilak Varma (120 not out off 47 balls) and Sanju Samson (109 not out off 56 balls), and then stopped South Africa at 148 in 18.2 overs.

(iii) Sanju Samson becomes the first cricketer to score three T20I centuries in a year.
