HCL, MECL, and JNARDDC under Ministry of Mines recognized for performance during National Learning Week.

Awards

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), and Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC), under the Ministry of Mines (MoM), were honoured for their exceptional performance during the National Learning Week (NLW), a nine-day nationwide initiative promoting learning and development, held from 19th to 27th October 2024.


      - The awards were presented by Union Minister of State (MoS) Dr. Jitendra Singh, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (MoPP&P).

      - The award ceremony was organized by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, Delhi.

      - This recognition highlights the Ministry's commitment to Mission Karmayogi, a flagship program of the Government of India for the training of civil servants.

Main Points:-   (i) The Ministry of Mines has consistently been assessed among the top-performing ministries by CBC for its exceptional implementation of Mission Karmayogi.

      (ii) HCL, MECL, and JNARDDC each received an award, competing with all central government organizations across India in achieving the "Minimum 4-hour Learning Goal," a target set by CBC where each employee of an organization had to complete at least 4 hours of Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) courses during NLW.
