India Clinches 24 Medals at Japan Para Badminton International 2024.

Indian Para badminton players won a total of 24 medals (6 gold, 9 silver, and 9 bronze) at the Badminton World Federation(BWF) Japan Para Badminton International 2024 held from 22nd to 27th October 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
- Sivarajan secured 2 golds – 1 in men's singles SH6 class and 1 in men's doubles with Sudarsan Saravanakumar Muthusamy.
- Sukant won a gold in men's singles (SL4) and silver in men's doubles (SL3-SL4) with partner Dinesh Rajaiah, while Naveen Sivakumar and Surya Kant Yadav secured bronze medals.
Main Points:- (i) In men's doubles (MD SL3-SU5), Umesh Vikram Kumar and Surya Kant Yadav won gold, while Sukant Kadam and Dinesh Rajaiah won silver.
(ii) Reigning Paralympic champ Nitesh Kumar secured silver after losing to Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara in the SL3 finals.
(iii) Manisha Ramdass won gold in women’s SU5, while Neeraj secured two silvers in women’s SL3 and mixed doubles (SL3-SU5) with Surya Kant Yadav.
