DA&FW Issues Operational Guidelines for Central Sector Scheme 'NAMO DRONE DIDI. National | Dated: 13 Nov 2024 The GoI has approved the Central Sector Scheme 'Namo Drone Didi' for providing drones to Women SHGs under DAY-NRLM, with an outlay of Rs 1261 Cr. 🎯 Key Highlights: - This aims to provide drones to 14500 selected Women SHGs from 2024-25 to 2025-2026 for providing rental services to farmers for agricultural purposes like the application of liquid fertilizers and pesticides. - DA&FW, under MoA&FW, has released the Operational Guidelines for this scheme. 💡 Other Important Facts: (i) Namo Drone Didi will be governed at the Central level by the Empowered Committee of the Secretaries of DA&FW; DRD, MoRD; DoF, MoC&F; MoCA; and MoWCD. (ii) The Implementation and Monitoring Committee will be headed by Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh, Additional Secretary, MoRD. The committee will have representation from all stakeholders.
