India's Indigenous Handheld Anti-Drone Gun 'Vajra Shot' Unveiled with 4 Km Range

The Vajra Shot, an innovative handheld anti-drone gun developed by Big Bang Boom Solutions, a technology startup based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, was showcased at 'Swavlamban 2024' – Indian Navy's Naval Innovation and Indigenisation Organisation (NIIO) Seminar organized by the Indian Navy (IN) at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.


      - It has been deployed in the Indian Army (IA) and the Indian Air Force (IAF).

     

     

Main Points:-   (i) The Vajra Shot can detect and jam drone signals at a distance of up to 4 kilometers (Km).

      (ii) Weighing only 3.5 kilograms (Kg), the gun is designed for portability and ease of use, allowing soldiers to carry it comfortably during missions.

(iii) The device boasts a long battery life, providing up to 9 hours of uninterrupted operation.
