On 19th October 2024, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister (PM) of India, launched the 'Karmayogi Saptah' National Learning Week (NLW), which will run from 19th to 25th October 2024, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi, Delhi.

  • - The week-long program aims to promote a 'One Government' vision by instilling a commitment to lifelong learning and self-improvement among over 30 lakh central civil servants.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The observance of the week-long Karmayogi Saptah has been extended to 27th October 2024.
  • (ii) On 21st October 2024 (3rd day of National Learning Week), Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Ministry of Mines, awarded the Adarsh Karmayogi Awards to 13 employees who completed over 100 courses on the IGOT Karmayogi portal.
  • (iii) Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, launched a nationwide Behavioral Sensitization program in CBIC.
