On October 11, 2024, the Indian Army's Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, launched "Agniastra," a multi-target portable detonation device (WEDC), during the Army Commanders Conference (ACC) held in Gangtok, Sikkim.
