The 23rd Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government (CHG) took place on October 16, 2024, in Islamabad, Pakistan, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
- The summit focused on regional security, trade, economic cooperation, and counter-terrorism efforts.
- Union Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar from India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) addressed the meeting. He was the first Indian foreign minister to visit Pakistan in almost ten years.
