On October 10, 2024, Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, who is 38 years old, announced that he will retire from professional tennis at the end of 2024.


      - Nadal's final tournament will be the 'Davis Cup 2024, scheduled to be held in 'November 2024' in 'Malaga, Spain'.

      - Rafael Nadal began his professional career in '2001' at the age of just '15. He has won a total of '92 singles titles, including '22 Grand Slam titles, '11 doubles titles, and '6 team titles'.

      - He became the world No. 1 for the first time in "2008" after defeating "Roger Federer" in the Wimbledon final that year.

Main Points:-   (i) In "2010", Rafael Nadal achieved a "Surface Slam" by winning major titles on "three different surfaces" in the same year.

      (ii) He won his second gold medal in men's doubles at the "2016 Rio Olympics" partnering 'Marc Lopez' (Spain).
