The United Nations (UN) celebrates World Space Week (WSW) every year from October 4th to 10th. This week aims to inspire and unite people globally, highlighting the important link between space technology and climate science.


      - Theme for World Space Week 2024: - "Space and Climatic Change."

     

     

Main Points:-   (i) In December 1999, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) passed resolution A/RES/54/68, designating October 4th to 10th of each year as World Space Week.

      (ii) The first World Space Week was celebrated from October 4th to 10th, 2000.
