FCI introduces ANNA DARPAN: a new era of digital transformation in supply chain management.

The Food Corporation of India (FCI), under the Department of Food & Public Distribution (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution), has launched a comprehensive digital transformation initiative. This initiative aims to modernize its existing supply chain management system, known as the 'Depot Online System', by implementing a new, microservices-based integrated supply chain management system called 'Anna Darpan'.
- The system is being developed to simplify and enhance supply chain operations at all levels, including Mandis, Mills, Depots (both owned and hired), and divisional, regional, zonal, and headquarters operations.
- M/s Coforge Limited has been chosen as the System Integrator (SI) by FCI, and the contract was signed on June 14, 2024.
- M/s Coforge Limited is responsible for the entire process of designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the ANNA DARPAN system.
Main Points:- FCI's strategic vision for the ANNA DARPAN system aims to enhance efficiency, user experience, data-driven decision-making, system integration, and mobile accessibility while optimizing existing applications to improve overall performance.
