Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) officially visited Uzbekistan from September 24 to 28, 2024, leading a delegation of officials from the MoF.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - During her visit, she participated in the 9th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which took place in Samarkand from September 25 to 26, 2024.
  • - She also conducted significant bilateral meetings with Jin Liqun, the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), as well as with her counterparts from Uzbekistan, Qatar, and China.
