The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has completed three transformative years in advancing digital health.

On September 27, 2024, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), a crucial part of Ayushman Bharat (AB) — the flagship scheme of the Government of India (GoI) that originated from the National Health Policy of 2017 — successfully completed three years of implementation.


      - Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2021, the mission aims to transform the country's digital healthcare ecosystem, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and transparency in healthcare services.

      - Additionally, over 42 crore health records have been linked to ABHA, facilitating seamless access to medical histories and improving healthcare delivery.

     

Main Points:-   To date, over 67 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) have been created. These accounts are designed to provide citizens with unique digital health IDs, ensuring secure access to and sharing of their health records.
