Telangana Becomes First State to Launch a Chapter of NITI Aayog's Women Entrepreneurship Platform.

In a groundbreaking initiative to promote women-led businesses, Telangana has become the first state in India to establish its own chapter of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog's Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP).
- The 'WEP Telangana Chapter' was inaugurated by BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO of NITI Aayog, in Hyderabad, in the presence of State Information and Technology (IT) and Industries Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and WEP co-chair Sangeetha Reddy.
- Sita Pallocholla has been appointed as the Mission Director for the WEP Telangana Chapter. The Women Entrepreneurs Hub (WE HUB), Telangana, will serve as the nodal body for the initiative in the state.
Main Points:- (i) This state-specific chapter aims to provide comprehensive support to women entrepreneurs by offering access to mentorship, financial resources, and digital tools that empower women in both urban and rural areas.
