India and Nepal Sign 12 MoUs for High Impact Community Development Projects in Nepal.

MOUs and Agreement

India and Nepal have signed 12 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for the implementation of High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs) in Nepal. These projects aim to enhance the quality of life for people in various sectors such as education, healthcare, drinking water, sanitation, and infrastructure. The MoUs were signed as part of India's long-standing development partnership with Nepal, with a focus on improving the grassroots level. Since 2003, India has supported over 500 such projects in Nepal. These initiatives underscore the strong bilateral relations and India's commitment to the socio-economic development of its neighboring country.

The signed MoUs focus on sustainable development, enhancing community infrastructure, and promoting local engagement in Nepal’s progress.

These projects reflect India’s commitment to fostering goodwill and cooperation with Nepal through mutual socio-economic initiatives.
