Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav, launched the 'Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 2.0' to curb tobacco use among young people in India. The initiative focuses on raising awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and encourages youth to lead a healthy lifestyle. Through various outreach programs and partnerships, the campaign aims to empower young individuals to make informed decisions regarding their health and avoid tobacco products. Jadhav emphasized the importance of collective action to protect future generations from tobacco addiction and its associated health risks, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases.


      Schools and colleges will actively participate in the campaign to educate students about the dangers of tobacco.

      The campaign will include interactive sessions and digital tools to engage youth in a tobacco-free lifestyle.
