National

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) has announced an increase in the Provident Fund (PF) withdrawal limit, raising it from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh. This decision aims to provide greater financial relief to employees during emergencies and encourage the utilization of retirement savings for urgent needs. The enhanced limit will allow workers to access a larger portion of their PF savings, thus easing their financial burdens. The ministry emphasized that this move aligns with the government's commitment to support workers and improve their financial security, especially in challenging times.

Increasing the PF withdrawal limit empowers workers to manage financial emergencies more effectively and access their savings easily.

This move reflects the government's ongoing efforts to enhance workers' welfare and ensure their financial stability.
