The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) and GMR Group for a major hydroelectric project in Nepal. The agreement outlines the development of a 900 Megawatt (MW) hydroelectric power plant, aimed at enhancing renewable energy capacity in the region. This initiative reflects a collaborative effort to bolster energy infrastructure and promote sustainable development. The project will significantly contribute to meeting Nepal's energy needs while reinforcing the commitment of the involved organizations to advancing clean energy solutions.
