IAF aircraft leave for Exercise Eastern Bridge VII in Oman.

An IAF contingent of MiG-29s, Jaguars, and C-17s is set to participate in Exercise Eastern Bridge VII, held from September 11 to 22, 2024, at Air Force base Masirah, Oman. This seventh edition aims to enhance interoperability between the Royal Oman Air Force and the Indian Air Force through joint training missions, improving tactical and operational skills. The exercise will feature complex aerial maneuvers and logistical coordination, strengthening regional security and collaboration.


      The exercise underscores the strong partnership between India and Oman, highlighting their commitment to regional security and stability.

      The exercise will include complex aerial manoeuvring, air-to-air and air to ground operations, and logistical coordination, reflecting the evolving defence needs and strategic interests of both nations, the IAF said.
