Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh unveiled new initiatives to transform the fisheries sector at the 4th Anniversary of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMMSY) in New Delhi.

Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh launched several key initiatives at the 4th Anniversary of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMMSY) in New Delhi. The new projects include the NFDP Portal for fisheries stakeholder registry, PM-MKSSY Operational Guidelines, and SOPs for Fisheries Cluster Development. He also announced three specialized fisheries clusters for pearl cultivation, ornamental fisheries, and seaweed, and released guidelines to develop 100 coastal villages into Climate Resilient Coastal Fishermen Villages. PMMSY aims to boost India’s fisheries sector and sustainability.


      Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Minority Affairs Shri George Kurian Shri George Kurian was present in the occasion.

      Shri Rajiv Ranjan distributes the Registration Certificates to the beneficiaries Registered on National Fisheries Development Program Portal.
