India is set to inaugurate its first silicon carbide manufacturing unit in Odisha, marking a significant milestone in the country's industrial development. This cutting-edge facility, planned to bolster India's position in the global semiconductor market, will focus on producing high-performance silicon carbide materials essential for advanced electronics and electric vehicles. The project is expected to attract substantial investment, generate numerous jobs, and stimulate technological innovation.
