Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu has launched the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) for the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), marking a significant step towards cashless travel across India. The card, designed to streamline and enhance travel convenience, will enable passengers to make seamless payments on public transportation services nationwide. This initiative aims to integrate various transport systems under a unified payment platform, reducing the need for cash transactions and improving overall travel efficiency. By adopting this technology, HRTC joins other major transit systems in promoting a more modern and accessible travel experience.


      The NCMC card supports multiple payment modes, including contactless transactions, enhancing user convenience and speed.

      This initiative aims to reduce the reliance on cash, promoting digital payment adoption across various transport services.
