This strategic partnership aims to enhance the development of wrestling at the grassroots level and provide better opportunities for young wrestlers. The MoU outlines various collaborative efforts, including organizing tournaments, training programs, and workshops to elevate the sport's profile. This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening the wrestling community in India and aligns with IIS’s commitment to fostering sports excellence and international collaboration.
The MoU includes joint efforts to improve coaching standards and facilities for wrestling across India.
IIS and UWW plan to launch wrestling scholarships to support talented athletes and encourage their development.
