The second meeting of the Joint Russian-Indian Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Emergency Management took place in Russia. This high-level meeting aimed to enhance bilateral collaboration in managing emergencies and natural disasters. Delegates from both nations discussed strategies for improving response mechanisms and sharing best practices. The discussions also focused on joint training programs and technological advancements to better prepare for emergencies. The meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to strengthen their partnership in ensuring effective emergency management and response systems.


      Both countries agreed to establish a joint task force for real-time emergency response and coordination.

      Plans for a joint emergency management exercise were proposed to test and improve preparedness for future disasters.
