ISRO's SAC Signs MoU with alphaMERS to Combat Marine Pollution Using AI.

The Indian Space Research Organisation's Space Applications Centre (ISRO's SAC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the technology firm alphaMERS to address marine pollution. The collaboration aims to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and mitigate pollution in marine environments. By utilizing advanced AI algorithms and satellite data, the partnership seeks to enhance the detection of pollutants and improve response strategies for marine conservation. This initiative is expected to make significant strides in protecting marine ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices in environmental management.


      The MoU will enable real-time tracking of pollution sources using satellite imagery and AI analysis.

      The collaboration aims to develop predictive models for marine pollution and effective mitigation strategies.
