The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD)has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroSave to enhance the management and utilization of Community Investment Funds. This collaboration aims to improve financial inclusion and support rural development projects more effectively. By leveraging MicroSave’s expertise, the Ministry seeks to optimize the allocation of funds, ensuring that resources are used efficiently to benefit local communities. The MoU marks a significant step towards strengthening rural economies and fostering sustainable growth through better financial practices.
The MoU will introduce advanced financial tools and strategies to enhance rural community investment outcomes and Training programs will be launched to build local capacity for effective fund management and utilization.
