MOUs and Agreement
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Central Institute of Fisheries Education (ICAR-CIFE) and Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperative management in the fisheries sector. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration and leverage expertise to improve the efficiency and sustainability of fisheries management. Through this partnership, both institutions will work together to develop innovative strategies and training programs to support cooperative fisheries management, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the fisheries sector in India.
The MoU will focus on creating joint research initiatives to address challenges in cooperative fisheries management.
ICAR-CIFE and VAMNICOM will organize workshops and training sessions to enhance skills in sustainable fisheries practices.
