Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda Launches National Medical Register Portal of NMC.

App and Web Portal

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda has launched the National Medical Register portal of the National Medical Commission (NMC). This new digital platform aims to streamline the registration process for medical professionals and enhance the transparency and efficiency of medical practice management in India. The portal will serve as a central repository for medical practitioners' credentials, ensuring that information is up-to-date and easily accessible. The initiative is expected to improve regulatory oversight, support better healthcare delivery, and facilitate easier verification of medical qualifications for practitioners and institutions alike.

The portal will integrate data from various state medical councils, creating a unified national database.

It will help in reducing procedural delays and administrative burdens for medical professionals across India.
