The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), IIT (BHU), and Denmark have collaborated to launch the Sustainable Low-Carbon Riverbank (SLCR) project in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to develop sustainable and eco-friendly practices for managing riverbanks, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions and preserving the natural environment. The project will leverage advanced technology and research to promote green infrastructure and enhance the resilience of river ecosystems.
