National

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare (MoA&FW) has launched an AI-powered National Pest Surveillance System to help farmers across the country. This innovative system uses artificial intelligence to monitor and detect pest infestations in crops, providing timely alerts to farmers. By identifying potential threats early, the system aims to reduce crop losses and increase agricultural productivity. The initiative is part of the government's ongoing efforts to support farmers by leveraging advanced technologies, ensuring they are better equipped to manage pests and enhance crop yields.

The system supports sustainable agriculture by reducing reliance on chemical pesticides through early pest detection.

Farmers can access real-time pest data via mobile apps, empowering them to take prompt and informed decisions.
