National

The Government of India has reconstituted the Executive Council and General Body of the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) after more than five decades. NIPCCD, established in 1966, plays a pivotal role in promoting voluntary action and strengthening the implementation of child development and welfare programs. This reconstitution is seen as a significant move to revitalize the organization and align it with contemporary challenges and objectives in child welfare and public cooperation. The new structure is expected to enhance the institute's effectiveness in policy-making, training, and research.

Enhanced Collaboration: The reconstitution aims to foster better collaboration between government bodies and child welfare organizations.

Modernization Efforts: The move is part of broader efforts to modernize child development policies and improve program implementation.
