The first STI Conclave on Traditional Knowledge for Sustainable Livelihood was organized jointly by ISTIC UNESCO and CSIR. Held to explore how traditional knowledge can be harnessed for sustainable development, the event brought together experts, policymakers, and practitioners from various fields. Discussions focused on integrating traditional wisdom with modern science to address contemporary challenges and promote sustainable livelihoods. The conclave highlighted successful case studies and innovative approaches, aiming to foster collaboration and create strategies that leverage traditional knowledge for a sustainable future.


      The conclave emphasized the importance of blending traditional practices with modern technology for effective sustainability solutions.
